Četvero mladih ljubavnika u mračnoj šumi doživljavaju pod utjecajem čarolija nadnaravnih bića razne komične avanture. Sretni ishodi ljubavnih veza dogodili su se isključivo voljom viših sila i bića (koji su prikazani kao da kontroliraju svijet) i nemaju nikakve veze sa stvarnošću i s time kako ljubav uistinu izgleda.
